The Sun Inn, Calbourne is situated in West Wight countryside overlooking Westover Cricket Club. Brighstone and Westover Forests are less than a mile away and the cliffs of Freshwater Bay are visible to the South West. As well as offering all that a pub should, with a saloon and bar, there is a restaurant with a constantly changing menu. We serve traditional bar meals as well as a daily roast and specials from the board. You can buy two steaks for £13. All food is genuinely home made. The Sun holds themed evenings on bank holidays and there are various bands arranged to perform in the pub. As well as two separate model railways running around the bar there is a vast outdoor model railway next to the pub car park. This attraction re-opens in Easter 2004.
